Job summary

Docketly is seeking an Operations Associate on our Coverage team to manage a live book of court hearings. You will negotiate fees, secure attorney coverage on tight deadlines, and maintain clear communication with clients and attorneys, all while protecting margins and outcomes.

You will work remotely with a team in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, evaluating hearings, prioritizing tasks, and resolving scheduling challenges to keep hearings on track.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a role requiring high-volume phone outreach or direct negotiation.
• Examples: inside sales, SDR/BDR, account management, collections, dispatch, scheduling, or high-touch customer service.
• Comfortable on the phone with strong verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to manage many open items at once.
• Calm under deadline pressure; able to make the call and move forward.

Responsibilities

• Secure coverage on a deadline.
• Own a portfolio of open hearings and work daily by phone, text, and email to commit the right attorney before the hearing date.
• Negotiate fees in real time.
• Explain reasoning clearly to your team and keep clients updated on status.
• Onboard and support attorneys; walk them through how Docketly works.
• Keep clients in the loop and update law firms on hearing status.
