Job summary

Docketly is hiring an Operations Associate for remote work on a full-time basis. You will own a live book of court hearings, contact attorneys by phone, text, and email to secure coverage, and negotiate fees in real time to protect margins.

You will triage a fast-moving pipeline, onboard attorneys, update clients, and maintain accurate records, with daily metrics measuring coverage speed and cost control.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a role requiring high-volume phone outreach or direct negotiation.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Genuinely organized with multiple open items.
• Calm and decisive under deadline pressure; make the call and move on.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Secure coverage on a deadline by owning a portfolio of open hearings and contacting attorneys via phone, text, and email.
• Negotiate fees in real time, holding your position and handling counteroffers.
• Triage a fast-moving pipeline, prioritizing hearings and explaining reasoning to the team.
• Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage gaps with a solutions-first mindset.
• Onboard and support attorneys, ensuring they understand how the system works and keeping them engaged.
• Keep law firm clients updated on hearing status to maintain trust and transparency.
• Log activity, confirm assignments, and maintain clean pipeline data.
