Job summary

Dematic Corp. seeks a Controls Engineer for our Tech Support team, primarily remote. You will work directly with customers, diagnosing issues via schematics and PLC logic to ensure precise resolutions in the material handling domain.

Responsibilities include supporting semi-complex systems, troubleshooting hardware and electrical controls, and traveling 20-30% to client sites as needed. Bachelor’s degree and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
1+ years of Customer Service Support experience.
Experience with Allen Bradley and Schneider PLC controls platforms.
Expertise in controls hardware troubleshooting.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
Strong customer service mentality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Participate in the support of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
Provide support in semi-complex material specification, schematic troubleshooting, and appropriate follow-up.
Recommend ideas related to efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and enhancement of customer happiness.
Offer outstanding troubleshooting expertise to Dematic's customers.
Travel between 20-30% to different customer locations, which may include weekends and overtime.
