Job summary

Cloudera, a leading data and AI platform provider, seeks a Contracts Manager to support the United States sales organization. You will review, draft, and negotiate enterprise software and related agreements, including NDAs, SOWs, and subscription contracts.

You will collaborate with sales, deal desk, and revenue teams, ensuring compliance with global standards while mitigating risk. This role emphasizes strategic judgment and trusted partnership with internal clients and external customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience negotiating sell-side technology and data contracts.
• Strong knowledge of software company issues: data privacy, IP protection, cloud, software development, revenue recognition.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate agreements with customers to enable new and follow-on business.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and global standards for hybrid deployment.
• Prepare contract paperwork, advise stakeholders on rights and obligations, mitigate risks.
• Escalate strategically when needed to balance priorities.
• Compile and analyze contract data and maintain records.
• Build rapport with sales and revenue teams to close contracts efficiently while reducing risk.
