Job summary

Handshake is seeking a Support Specialist, Contractor to deliver email, phone, and video assistance for employer, student, and career services users. This 6-month contract may extend or convert to a permanent role after evaluation.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, build customer relationships, and enhance support operations while ensuring a high-quality user experience. You will be part of a collaborative team supporting Handshake clients across the US, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can explain complex topics clearly.
• You are located in the United States and can work a regular schedule during business hours.
• You are comfortable with change, ambiguity, and fast-paced startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide email, phone, and video support to Handshake customers.
• Resolve technical questions, bugs, and workflows with tailored responses.
• Collaborate with Support, Success, Product and Engineering teams to unblock users.
