Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. seeks a Construction/Trades Sales Specialist for a remote/field role serving New York and New Jersey.

You will drive top-line sales targets for DEWALT, STANLEY and other brands, develop end-user partnerships, and mentor local teams on end-user development and purchasing processes. The role requires 3+ years in construction sales, a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, and travel up to 50% with strong negotiation and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields preferred; relevant construction field experience could substitute.
• 3+ years of Sales or Marketing experience in Construction Supplies with proven results.
• Experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals by selling DEWALT, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands.
• Establish, develop and maintain key relationships with end-user partners and manage contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor local market team on End User development processes and purchasing.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool and report on opportunities.
