Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to join our remote, travel‑heavy EPC operations. You will coordinate engineering information, support warranty analyses, and assist in deploying new construction technologies across projects nationwide.

You’ll assist with field data collection, drone flights, and GPS datasets while maintaining rigorous documentation and drawing updates for project teams. This role offers growth toward independent execution in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guided growth toward independent execution.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes, testing practices like pile load testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering information flow to field teams with drawings, clarifications, and consultant responses.
  • Manage RFIs with clear questions, supporting docs, and routing to proper discipline.
  • Interpret project design requirements and ensure adherence to SOLV standards and permits.
  • Maintain document control systems for drawings, data rooms, exhibits, and submittals.
  • Identify constructability risks and missing details during reviews.
  • Support comments cycles by preparing logs and organizing consultant responses.
  • Monitor timelines and escalate risks with internal and external partners.
