Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to join our remote operations in the United States. This temp-to-hire role supports warranty analysis, emerging technologies, field coordination, and pre-construction testing, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance toward independent execution.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue it.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty forensics: collect field data, document concerns, and support review.
  • Emerging technologies: assist GPS pile driving, drone surveys, and data workflows.
  • Construction engineering support during operations: manage RFIs and drawings updates.
  • Pile load testing: coordinate pre-construction testing activities and data.
  • General engineering: conduct drawings checks, site visits, and document control.
