Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support EPC operations in a remote role with travel. This position focuses on warranty analysis, emerging technologies implementation, and field engineering support during operations, along with pile load testing during initial design.

The role begins as contingent with potential transition to a permanent position, and requires collaboration with project teams to ensure timely delivery and documentation accuracy across multiple engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance and growth toward independent execution.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes, testing practices, and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Gather field data, photos, as-built information, and installation details to support warranty claim evaluations.
  • Document potential design, manufacturing, or installation concerns and organize findings for senior engineering review.
  • Coordinate daily engineering information flow to field teams and manage RFIs.
  • Maintain engineering document control systems, including drawing sets and submittals.
  • Assist in remediation planning and communicate required actions to project teams and clients.
