Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support warranty analysis, emerging technologies implementation, and field coordination across EPC operations. The role is remote with required travel, starting as contingent with potential to transition to a permanent position.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering information flow, handling RFIs, maintaining document control, and supporting pile load testing during initial design, with a strong focus on accuracy and rapid issue

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or a closely related technical field (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance toward independent execution.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes, testing practices (pile load testing), and documentation.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and disciplined documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty Forensics: gather field data, documents, and organize findings for review by senior staff.
  • Emerging Technologies: support GPS pile driving, drone topo capture, and data workflows.
  • Construction Engineering Support During Operations: coordinate information flow, draft RFIs, track responses.
  • Pile Load Testing: assist with pre-construction testing, document procedures and results.
  • General Engineering: perform drawing comparisons, site visits, and develop SOPs.
