Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks a Construction Engineer I for a remote role with travel across the U.S. You will support warranty analysis, emerging technologies deployment, and construction engineering during operations, plus pre-design pile load testing coordination.

The role emphasizes documentation rigor, coordination with project teams, and readiness to grow toward independent execution in a dynamic EPC environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or closely related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance toward independent execution.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty Forensics: gather field data and document potential design or installation concerns.
  • Emerging Technologies Implementation: support GPS, drone topo capture, and machine control datasets.
  • Construction Engineering Support During Operations: coordinate drawings, RFIs, and document control.
  • Pile Load Testing Support During Initial Design: assist in pre-construction pile load testing and data reporting.
  • General Engineering Responsibilities: conduct drawing checks, field data collection, and constructability reviews.
