Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support EPC projects nationwide in solar, storage, and substations. This role starts as a contingent position with potential to transition to permanent. It is remote, with travel required and details to be discussed in interviews.

Key duties include warranty analysis support, emerging technologies implementation, construction engineering coordination, RFIs, and field data management. A Bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or related field (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience; willingness to grow toward independent execution.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty forensics: collect field data, document concerns, and track warranty logs.
  • Emerging technologies implementation: support GPS drone workflows and data sets.
  • Construction engineering support during operations: manage drawings, RFIs, and document control.
  • Pile load testing support: coordinate pre-construction testing and record results.
  • General engineering: perform plan reviews, site visits, and risk identification.
