Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks a Construction Engineer I for a contingent role with potential permanent placement. You will support warranty forensics, implement emerging technologies, and provide construction engineering support during operations, with travel and a remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or closely related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance to grow toward independent execution.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support warranty forensics and investigate design/manufacturing/installation concerns with traceable documentation.
  • Assist deployment of emerging construction technologies (GPS, drones, machine control) and maintain engineering datasets.
  • Coordinate daily information flow to field teams; manage RFIs and ensure timely drawing updates and clarifications.
  • Document pile load testing procedures, results, and ensure alignment with contract requirements and standards.
  • Maintain document control systems and support constructability reviews and risk identification.
