Job summary

Gordian in Washington, DC seeks an Account Manager to support and train clients in Job Order Contracting (JOC) and Gordian software. You will manage client relationships within a defined geographic area, delivering procurement services and training on Gordian’s data and tools.

You will coordinate schedules, review contracts, and ensure project scope and pricing accuracy while traveling 30-50% to client sites nationwide. Strong communication and construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field, or comparable work experience.
• 5+ years of construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting experience in facilities and road construction.
• Experience with public procurement and contract pricing, including scope development and estimating/price proposal development.
• Ability to travel 30-50% for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain schedules of detailed activities to accomplish procurement objectives within a specified time period for clients.
• Implement and adhere to project procedures from project identification through notice to proceed and construction execution to accomplish objectives for various Job Orders.
• Read and understand construction plans and specifications, with knowledge in reviewing price proposals and constructing detailed line-item proposals.
• Train contractors in Gordian software and client procedures, and assist in client contract bidding.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
