Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our Compliance & Reporting customer team. This remote-ready role focuses on building configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets while meeting state and agency-specific reporting requirements.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions and help shape a brand-new team with strong engineering standards

Qualifications

• Experience in public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions; Forms.io preferred.
• Experience with scripting/configuration languages such as JavaScript and JSON.
• Strong ability to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure reporting forms satisfying state-specific compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards and best practices for a growing team.
• Write and maintain scripts to support form configuration and automation; improve internal docs and tooling.
