Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new team focused on building configurable reports for expanding into new markets and jurisdictions. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.

The role emphasizes solving customer problems, establishing standards, and enabling deployments across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Experience in the public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills when working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Worked with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team aligning with Mark43’s growth.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to simplify compliance reporting build, maintenance, and scaling.
