Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new team focused on building configurable reports that support Mark43’s expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. This remote role enables you to help ensure state and agency-specific compliance while delivering scalable solutions for customers.

You will partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into robust reporting workflows, forms, and automation, driving

Qualifications

• Experience in public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions (Forms.io preferred).
• Proficiency with scripting/configuration languages such as JavaScript and JSON.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure reporting forms meeting state-specific compliance for new jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product and Engineering to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting varied requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards and processes for a new team aligning with Mark43's growth.
• Create and maintain scripts using JavaScript and JSON to support form config and automation.
• Improve internal docs and tooling to simplify compliance reporting at scale.
