Job summary

Mark43 is looking for a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our Compliance & Reporting customer team. This role will build configurable reports that enable Mark43 to expand into new markets and support customers in new jurisdictions, with a strong focus on meeting state and agency reporting requirements.

You’ll partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions, develop forms and workflows, and

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team that will play a key role in Mark43's growth.
• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improve internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.
