Job summary

Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is seeking a Commercial Casualty Supervisor, Complex Claims to oversee complex auto and commercial injury claims remotely across multiple states. You will supervise claim investigations, guide adjusters, manage workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance in a remote, flexible environment.

The role requires 7+ years in complex claims, 5+ years in supervisory roles, a BA/BS in a related field, and potentially SIU experience with professional designations

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressively responsible supervisory role in a claims environment.
• 7+ years of complex claims experience.
• Technical expertise in handling casualty claims of varying complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; professional designation preferred.
• Two or more years of litigation experience, preferably SIU.
• Professional designation such as AIC, CPCU, or ICAR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims, ensuring effective workflow management and adherence to departmental standards.
• Provide technical guidance to adjusters, reviewing claims for coverage, liability, settlement authority, and appropriate resolution of complex issues.
• Direct daily business unit operations, including workflow distribution, staffing, and coverage across multiple shifts.
• Establish and monitor employee performance goals, departmental objectives, and service standards.
• Monitor claims quality and customer service performance through file reviews and QA reports.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, safety standards, and DOI regulations.
• Participate in specialty Committee Review Processes and facilitate meetings to support claims decisions.
• Recommend improvements to plans, processes, and resource utilization to enhance efficiency.
• Support staffing and financial management through recruitment, budgeting, and oversight of resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a claims liaison for commercial customers and brokers.
• Oversee litigation management, including internal/external counsel and cost controls.
• Travel as needed for role and enterprise meetings; engage in other duties as assigned.
