Job summary

NFP is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to service a book with emphasis on trucking/transportation clients. You will handle endorsements, certificates, billing, renewals, and proposals while building client and carrier relationships, often working independently within a remote setup.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and insurance knowledge, with licensing and a background in commercial insurance. This is a full-time remote position in PST/MT/CST.

Qualifications

• Prior client service and/or industry experience; trucking/transportation ideal.
• Property & Casualty Broker's License required upon hire.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
• 3+ years in commercial insurance; retail brokerage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with carrier and client contacts; participate in meetings.
• Bind and endorse policies, issue certificates, bill invoices, and collect payments.
• Market renewals by obtaining information and coordinating renewal quotations with carriers.
• Quote policy changes, facilitate financing, and manage down payments and carrier payments.
• Maintain client policy records in the agency system and respond to inquiries.
