NFP is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to work with Producers, servicing our client accounts across trucking and transportation. This is a full-time remote role requiring day-to-day client servicing, endorsements, binding policies, issuing certificates, billing, and coordinating with insured and underwriters.

You will also be involved in the renewal and marketing process, preparing proposals, obtaining signed applications, securing payment, and putting bind paperwork together.

Qualifications

• Prior client service and/or industry and product line experience. Experience with transportation/trucking clients is ideal.
• Property & Casualty Broker's License required upon hire
• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of industry experience with a strong background in commercial insurance
• Prior retail brokerage experience required.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationships with carrier and client contacts and take an active role in meetings.
• Bind and endorse policies, issue certificates, bill invoices, request payments, and have contact with all assigned clients verbally and by email regularly.
• Markets renewals: prepare renewal quotations to applicable insurance carriers and propose to insured.
• Quote policy changes, facilitate financing, collect additional premium and down payments and ensure carrier payments are received.
• Update and keep client policy records in the agency management system.
• Answer incoming calls and emails, responding to client questions as needed.
• Follow up on suspense items and outstanding information.
• Other duties as assigned.
