Job summary

Navigate Power is seeking an energetic Commercial Energy Solutions Advisor to build and manage a commercial energy client book with 110+ supplier relationships and uncapped commissions. This contract, remote role offers flexible scheduling and the potential for significant earnings based on performance.

You will help businesses compare electricity and natural gas offers, identify cost savings, and expand solutions—from efficiency upgrades to solar and energy storage—across a nationwide supplier

Qualifications

• Two+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Ability to generate business through prospecting and referrals.
• Consultative selling—listen to priorities and move conversations toward a decision.
• Independent work discipline in a remote, 1099, commission-only role.
• Energy consulting or procurement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline: prospect via outreach, referrals, networks, partnerships, and current relationships.
• Reach the right decision-makers: engage owners, finance leaders, managers, and facility teams.
• Turn client information into a strategy: review bills, usage, dates, and needs to identify savings.
• Make the options clear: present electricity and gas proposals with terms and market context.
• Develop opportunities beyond procurement: introduce solar, EV charging, storage, and efficiency upgrades when appropriate.
• Lead the sale through close: move from discovery to proposal and signed agreement with internal support.
• Build the next opportunity into each account: maintain pipeline and pursue renewals/referrals.
