Job summary

Navigate Power seeks a Commercial Energy Solutions Consultant to build a commercial energy client book from a remote base with Albany, NY coverage. The role offers uncapped commissions in a 1099 contract, with no base salary, and access to 110+ supplier relationships nationwide for competitive offers.

You will generate pipeline, win deals, and expand accounts by bringing energy efficiency and renewable projects to the conversation while managing client relationships and renewals.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Ability to prospect and close deals remotely.
• Consultative selling approach to align client priorities.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline through outreach, referrals, and networks.
• Reach the right decision-makers such as business owners and finance leaders.
• Analyze utility bills and usage to propose cost-saving solutions.
• Present proposals clearly, explaining pricing, terms, and market conditions.
• Expand opportunities beyond procurement with solar, EV charging, and energy projects.
• Lead deals from discovery to signed agreement with internal support.
• Maintain pipeline records and pursue renewals and referrals.
