Job summary

Navigate Power and Verde Solutions are recruiting a Commercial Energy Specialist for a contract, remote-friendly role with Columbus-anchored flexibility. You’ll close deals, advise clients on energy procurement, and leverage a broad supplier network to deliver end-to-end energy solutions for commercial and industrial customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ sales experience (preferably) in the B2B field with a strong track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
• Energy consulting, procurement, or related fields experience.
• Established professional network to support client acquisition.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of commercial and industrial prospects.
• Develop relationships with business owners, property managers, operators, executives, and other decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities to help clients reduce costs, manage energy risk, improve efficiency, and plan for future energy needs.
• Present tailored energy solutions using Navigate Power and Verde Solutions’ supplier network, tools, and support resources.
• Grow long-term client relationships through consultative selling, referrals, networking, and follow-up.
• Stay current on energy procurement, renewables, battery storage, EV charging, and other commercial energy solutions.
