Navigate Power is hiring a Commercial Energy Consultant to build a commercial energy client book as a remote, independent contractor. You will access 110+ supplier relationships, leverage pricing tools, and use deal support to win, renew, and expand accounts.

This role offers uncapped commissions with no base salary, enabling you to set your schedule, develop your market, and generate your own pipeline while managing energy procurement projects and opportunities across electricity and natural

Qualifications

• At least two years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Ability to prospect, ask for referrals, and build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Consultative selling skills to listen for priorities, explain recommendations clearly, and move conversations toward a decision.
• Independent, remote, commission-only role with 1099 status and no base salary.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline through outreach, referrals, partnerships, and existing relationships.
• Reach the right decision-makers: owners, finance leaders, property managers, and facility teams.
• Review utility bills, usage, and contract dates to identify savings and shape recommendations.
• Present electricity and natural gas proposals explaining pricing, terms, and market conditions.
• Develop opportunities beyond procurement: solar, EV charging, battery storage, and efficiency upgrades.
• Lead the sale through close: move opportunities from discovery to proposal and signed agreement.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records, follow up, and pursue renewals and referrals.
