Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking an experienced Litigation Claims Specialist to join its Commercial General Liability team. The role offers hybrid work with occasional in-office attendance in Schaumburg, IL and focuses on managing multi-party CGL claims with moderate to high exposure within authority levels.

We require a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 3+ years in Claims or Insurance, with strong litigation management skills and knowledge of insurance regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an associate degree and 3+ years of experience
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 3+ years of experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products
• Microsoft Office experience

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-party commercial lines claims involving moderate to high exposure and complexity.
• Follow established best practices and protocols to ensure efficient, high-quality claims handling.
• Collaborate in a team environment and build cross-functional working relationships.
• Understand reserving for indemnity and expenses to assess exposure.
