Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join our nationwide remote team. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

This 100% remote role offers a Monday–Friday schedule between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, potential performance-based earnings, and a benefits package including health, vision, and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third–party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip–tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
