Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Remote Collections Specialist to join our team. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate resolutions, and work from a confidential home office in a remote setting.

We expect you to uphold high standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance while aiming for optimal recovery results. We value performance, offer opportunities to earn extra compensation, and support a Monday–Friday schedule within 7:00 AM–6:00 PM with

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a high-volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with skip-tracing tools and collection management systems.
• Previous experience consistently meeting or exceeding collection goals.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' individual financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
