Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our remote, nationwide team. You will manage inbound and outbound collection calls, negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts, and use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.

This 100% remote role offers performance-based commissions, a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–6:00 PM), and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in third-party debt collection.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions during challenging conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain consistent communication with management while working remotely.
