Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency per policy. The role handles complex questions from the service team and requires strong communication and negotiation skills.

Base pay is USD 21.00–23.00 per hour with opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing consumer finance environment. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a flexible, team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year experience in customer service or collections preferred.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Researches delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit cards.
• Provide relief options to customers in hardship per policy.
• Explain interest, statements, and other account questions to customers.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy.
