Job summary

Foundation Finance Company, LLC seeks an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency, following policy. This role handles complex questions from the customer service team and other representatives.

Pay range is USD 21.00 - 23.00 per hour. Two evening shifts and a rotating Saturday shift are required. Join a team focused on resolving delinquency and providing options per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy to yield results.
• Strong typing skills.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past due accounts in efforts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine best course of resolution action and assume responsibility for attempting resolutions.
• Process over the phone payments, including credit card transactions, utilizing company resources to achieve one-call resolutions.
• Provide relief options to customers experiencing hardships in accordance with company policies.
• Proficiently relay information to customers relating to interest, statements, and other account questions.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy calls.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes properly in all required areas per company processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management; maintain punctuality and teamwork under deadlines.
