Job summary

Foundation Finance Company, LLC is hiring an Account Servicing Specialist I in Kentucky to assess past due accounts, contact customers and resolve delinquency per policy. You will handle complex inquiries, process on-line payments and provide options to customers facing hardship.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and typing skills plus two evening shifts and a monthly Saturday. Foundation Finance offers benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy to yield results.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Outband calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions.
• Provide relief options to customers per company policies.
• Relay information about interest, statements, and other account questions.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes in required systems per procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
