Job summary

Foundation Finance Company seeks an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past-due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency per policy. Interfaces with customer service and other reps, handles complex questions, and processes payments by phone.

Role requires minimal one year in customer service or collections, strong communication, and the ability to handle stressful conversations with tact. Evening and weekend shifts apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy to yield the desired results.
• Strong typing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Researches delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit cards.
• Provide relief options to customers per policies.
• Relay information about interest, statements, and other questions.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy calls.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes in required systems per processes.
