Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned coding educator to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams through education programs for coders and clinicians. This fully remote, full-time position emphasizes developing and delivering training—live and virtual—across multiple specialties.

The role requires AHIMA or AAPC certifications, extensive ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS knowledge and adult-learning expertise. Travel is minimal, with a strong focus on scalable online education.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding and/or coding integrity experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience including surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding, and other physician specialties.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT leadership, Org development and Revenue Cycle leadership.
