Advocate Health seeks an educator for coding education and training across multiple teams. You will develop and deliver programs for coders and clinicians, using adult learning principles and a mix of classroom and virtual formats.

You will stay current with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines, and collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and measure program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• CDM/Coding educational experience for clinicians and coders.
• Experience with adult learning principles in education.
• Advanced knowledge of coding guidelines and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Presents coding education and training for coders and clinicians.
• Identify educational needs and develop programs and materials.
• Schedule and deliver in-person or virtual trainings; track progress.
