Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams. You will deliver initial and ongoing education to coders and clinicians, partnering with Coding Leadership, IT, Revenue Cycle, and Compliance to design impactful programs.

Ideal candidates bring recent production coding experience across specialties, AHIMA/AAPC certifications, and strong ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS knowledge along with adult learning expertise.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Strong understanding of adult learning concepts and education delivery.

Responsabilités

• Present coding and documentation education for initial training and ongoing education to coders and clinicians.
• Identify education needs and develop programs with leadership input.
• Schedule and deliver in-person and online trainings; create tools and materials.
