Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to support PB Coding and Coding Integrity teams in a fully remote role. You will engage in production coding and coding integrity activities, collaborating with leadership across departments.

A specialty coding background across multiple domains is preferred, with a required AAPC or AHIMA certification. The position is full-time, remote (Mon-Fri) with a flexible schedule, offering 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Recent production coding experience preferred.
• Specialty coding experience across multiple domains including surgical, anesthesia, pain management, hepatology, nephrology, anticoagulation, radiation oncology, interventional radiology, dental coding, and other physician specialties.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Coding Leadership, IT leadership, Org development, Revenue Cycle leadership, and Compliance leadership on coding initiatives.
