Job summary

CommonSpirit is seeking a Coding Auditor and Educator for Professional Fee to support the coding team using ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 and HCPCS. You will audit, educate, and ensure compliant coding across the organization.

You will onboard new staff and develop ongoing training programs, while monitoring regulatory changes and communicating updates to PB coding teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Audit PB coder records for accuracy and compliance.
• Onboard and train staff on Risk Adjustment and MEAT.
• Educate teams on coding guidelines and regulatory changes.
• Develop training programs for health plan requirements.
• Maintain mastery of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Lead onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Audit PB coder records for accuracy and compliance.
• Onboard and train staff on Risk Adjustment, HCCs, and MEAT criteria.
• Develop and deploy training programs on evolving health plan requirements and regulatory changes.
• Build relationships with coding teams to standardize practices and improve communication.
