Job summary

CommonSpirit is seeking a Coding Auditor and Educator for Professional Fee to support the professional coding team. You will audit ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS, serve as a subject matter expert, and lead staff onboarding and ongoing education. You’ll monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation across PB coding teams.

The role includes developing training programs, improving documentation quality, and maintaining strong cross-departmental communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• Mastery of ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding rules.
• Experience auditing professional fee records and educating staff.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare rules and documentation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal coding audits and provide follow-up education.
• Onboard and train new staff; develop ongoing training programs.
• Communicate regulatory changes and implement updates across coding teams.
