VCU Telecommunication Services seeks an experienced Telecom Voice Project Manager to lead major voice-service initiatives and partner with campus stakeholders. You will drive cloud voice adoption, service improvements, platform upgrades, and contact center enhancements, managing full project lifecycles from requirements to deployment.

The role emphasizes clear planning, risk management, and effective communication to deliver reliable, user-centered voice services across the university and health

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex technology programs.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate large-scale technology transitions.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communications translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• College degree in telecommunications, information technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-level voice projects and coordinate with vendors and campus stakeholders.
• Manage full project lifecycles: requirements gathering, scoping, dependency mapping, testing, deployment and transition.
• Focus on planning, communication, risk management and reliable user-centered voice services.
• Work location is virtual but must be in the east coast time zone and able to attend occasional on-site engagements.
