Job summary

VCU Telecommunication Services is seeking an experienced Telecom Voice Project Manager to lead major voice-service initiatives across the university and health system. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage vendors, and ensure successful cloud voice adoption and service improvements.

The role emphasizes rigorous planning, risk management, and clear communication to deliver reliable, user-centered voice solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing complex technology programs, preferably in telecommunications, cloud voice, or contact center modernization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate large-scale technology transitions.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-level initiatives that enhance and modernize the university and health system’s voice communications services.
• Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with vendors and campus stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives such as cloud voice adoption and platform upgrades.
• Manage full project lifecycles: requirements gathering, technical scoping, dependency mapping, testing, deployment, and operations readiness.
