Job summary

Vacatia is seeking a Unified Communications (UCaaS) Engineer to own and modernize Vacatia’s cloud communications ecosystem. This hands-on role designs, deploys, administers, and optimizes UCaaS platforms while supporting contact center operations across corporate offices, resorts, and remote staff.

You will lead cloud-native communications, integrate with Salesforce and collaboration tools, manage licensing and vendors, and drive scalable, secure voice and video services that improve reliability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering UCaaS, telecom, or cloud communications environments.
• Hands-on with Dialpad, RingCentral, Teams Phone, Zoom Phone, Amazon Connect or similar.
• Strong knowledge of call routing, IVRs, hunt groups, and SIP trunking.
• Experience integrating communications with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Zendesk.
• Solid networking basics: QoS, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, bandwidth, latency, voice quality.
• Experience provisioning users, licensing, devices, headsets, and endpoints.
• Vendor management, licensing, SLAs, and carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize UCaaS platforms across the enterprise.
• Design and maintain call flows, auto attendants, queues, and routing.
• Integrate communications with Salesforce, CRM, and collaboration tools.
• Ensure voice and video quality, security, and high availability.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, and Customer Experience to improve workflows.
