Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to serve as a customer-facing cloud security expert. The role combines security consulting with support for new offerings and originates from a remote position with potential in-office reporting to Austin, TX.

You will collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, and security engineers, learn SHI services, train sales teams, and develop collateral and use cases for sales engagements. Travel up to 20% may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc.).
• Expertise in identity governance and security controls (DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, encryption).
• Ability to translate technical needs into sales opportunities and articulate value.
• Familiarity with security tech vendors: Proofpoint, Mimecast, Rubrik, Varonis, Cohesity, etc.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO, security engineers, and procurement to strengthen relationships.
• Learn SHI services offerings through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling through 1x1 and team trainings.
• Stay current on technology trends and industry landscape.
• Develop collateral to support cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Develop use cases in the SHI lab for sales engagements.
• Assist in SOW creation for professional services aligned to products and solutions.
