Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Security to serve as a customer-facing endpoint security expert. You will take a consultative approach to security projects, understand how security technology enables business, and help develop and deliver new security service offerings.

This remote role may report to an Austin office as needed. You will collaborate with CIO/CSO/CISO, educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling, and stay ahead of market trends while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications (CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO/CSO/CISO, security engineers, and procurement to strengthen client relationships.
• Understand SHI service offerings across solution practices through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling via 1x1, team, and company training.
• Stay current on technology trends and market landscape.
• Develop collateral and use cases in SHI lab to support sales engagements.
• Engage in lab-based knowledge expansion.
