Job summary

DoiT is seeking an Account Manager to join its Sales team, with a remote role ideally based in Tokyo and options for Thailand, Singapore or Australia. You will nurture existing customers, identify growth opportunities, and liaise with cloud vendor teams to maximize revenue while maintaining 100% retention.

You’ll manage escalations, close long-term commitments, and drive new-workload opportunities across cloud environments. Travel to Japan and APAC regions is occasional.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an account management, customer success, or customer engineering role.
• Experience at a technology company is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of our cloud management platform, services, and how they solve client needs.
• Maintain ownership of customer relationships and coordinate with vendor teams to show value and growth opportunities.
• Manage customer-related support escalations to resolution, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders balancing customer, vendor and company interests.
• Identify new workload opportunities within the customer cloud environment and SaaS solutions.
• Generate new-logo sales to expand territory and revenue.
• Establish regular cadence with customers across the portfolio and balance needs of large and growing accounts.
• Provide customer feedback to engineering to align products with market needs and drive prioritization.
