Job summary

DoiT seeks an Account Manager to nurture relationships with existing customers in the APAC region, primarily Japan. This remote role prefers Tokyo-based candidates but welcomes applicants from Thailand, Singapore, or Australia with strong Japanese skills.

You will work with cloud vendors and our cloud management platform to identify growth opportunities, manage escalations, and close long-term commitments, while delivering value to customers and driving revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Account Management/Customer Success/Customer Engineering
• 3+ years at a technology company
• Strong verbal/written communication in Japanese & English
• Strong technical skills to engage with technical teams
• Excellent operational/administration skills, analytical and detail-oriented
• Desire to grow within the organization and broaden skills
• Humor and fun at work are valued
• Bonus points for AWS, GCP or other public clouds
• Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader)

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of our business, cloud management platform and services
• Maintain knowledge and ownership of your customers and coordinate with vendor teams to show value
• Manage customer-related support escalations to resolution
• Negotiate and close long-term commitments with stakeholders
• Identify new workload opportunities within the Customer’s Cloud Environment/SaaS
• Generate new-logo sales to expand your territory
• Establish regular cadence with your customer portfolio
• Provide customer feedback to engineering for market/context insights
• Deliver quarterly reviews with customers and track timelines and budgets
• Identify cost optimization opportunities within customer cloud environments
• Collaborate with Cloud Vendors Sales Reps on mutual customers
• Travel within Japan and broader APAC region as needed
