Job summary

Zippy, a remote-first mortgage lender focused on manufactured homes, seeks a Closing Operations Specialist – Broker to coordinate closings for the broker channel. You’ll be the central contact for brokers and settlement agents, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure accurate final figures and closing documents for timely closings.

You will oversee digital signing, guide borrowers through closing documents, and facilitate remote online notarization while delivering a positive borrower experience.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of loan closing experience in housing; manufactured housing experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting mortgage brokers or wholesale lending transactions.
• Ability to balance final loan documents and settlement statements.
• Strong written and verbal communication with broker/partner relations.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment evolving with technology and scale.
• Flexible schedule including after-hours and weekends as needed.
• Proactive and autonomous with multi-closings management.
• Collaborative with a team to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for brokers, settlement agents, and internal staff to resolve late-stage closing bottlenecks.
• Balance final loan documents and settlement statements with title companies or escrow officers; resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate loan status updates and requirements to brokers; follow up on next steps.
• Guide borrowers through closing documents and facilitate remote online notarization to ensure a positive experience.
• Review closing documents for accuracy and coordinate corrections with internal teams and settlement partners.
• Own the closing process, track outstanding items, and prepare for loan servicing.
• Coordinate with brokers, account executives, and settlement partners to deliver timely closings.
• Share feedback on systems and workflows to improve broker support and borrower experience.
