Job summary

Zippy is seeking a Closing Operations Specialist – Broker to coordinate and execute closings for the broker channel, serving as the central contact for external brokers and settlement agents. You will ensure timely closings by resolving bottlenecks and guiding borrowers through digital signing and remote online notarization.

We value experience in loan closings, attention to detail, and the ability to balance complex documents in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of loan closing experience in housing or manufactured housing is required.
• Experience supporting mortgage brokers or wholesale lending transactions is preferred.
• Ability to review and balance final loan documents and settlement statements, identify discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
• Quality-focused, highly attentive to detail and process-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for external mortgage brokers, settlement agents, and internal account executives to resolve late-stage closing bottlenecks and keep closings moving forward.
• Balance final loan documents and settlement statements directly with title companies, escrow officers, or settlement agents; identify and resolve discrepancies before documents are finalized and executed.
• Guide borrowers through closing documents and facilitate remote online notarization to deliver a positive final experience.
• Manage multiple closings and competing priorities with proactive planning and clear communication.
• Review closing documents for accuracy and coordinate corrections with internal teams and partners.
