Job summary

Zippy, a Dallas-based lender focusing on manufactured home loans, is seeking a Closing Operations Specialist – Broker. You will coordinate closings for the broker channel, act as the main contact for brokers, settlement agents, and internal teams, and ensure timely, accurate final figures and documents.

You will guide borrowers through closing documents, oversee digital signing and remote online notarization, and help deliver a smooth, positive financing experience for manufactured home buyers

Qualifications

• Two or more years of loan closing experience in housing/ manufactured housing preferred.
• Experience supporting mortgage brokers or wholesale lending transactions and coordinating with title companies, escrow officers or settlement agents.
• Undergraduate degree or extended relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for brokers, settlement agents, and internal account executives to resolve late-stage closing bottlenecks and keep closings moving forward.
• Balance final loan documents and settlement statements with title companies and escrow officers; resolve discrepancies before finalization.
• Communicate loan status and remaining closing requirements to brokers and partners in a timely manner.
• Guide borrowers through closing documents and facilitate remote online notarization for a smooth digital closing experience.
• Review closing documents for accuracy and coordinate corrections with internal teams and settlement partners.
• Own the closing process, track outstanding items, and support post-close tasks for loan servicing readiness.
• Coordinate with brokers, account executives, and settlement partners to manage competing priorities and ensure timely closings.
• Share feedback on processes and technology to improve the closing experience for brokers and borrowers.
• Disseminate best practices across origination and closing teams to improve broker support and borrower experience.
