Job summary

Zippy is hiring a Closing Operations Specialist – Broker to coordinate and execute broker closings across the U.S. This role serves as the main liaison for external brokers and settlement partners, guiding borrowers through final documents and remote online notarization.

You will ensure accurate figures, timely closings, and a smooth digital signing experience, contributing to better consumer outcomes in manufactured housing finance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of loan closing experience in the housing market; manufactured housing experience is appreciated.
• Experience supporting mortgage brokers or wholesale lending transactions and coordinating with title companies, escrow officers or settlement agents.
• Ability to review and balance final loan documents and settlement statements, identify discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools, with the ability to adapt to new technology.
• Undergraduate degree or extended relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for external mortgage brokers, settlement agents, and internal account executives to resolve late-stage closing bottlenecks and keep closings moving forward.
• Balance final loan documents and settlement statements directly with title companies, escrow officers, or settlement agents; identify and resolve discrepancies before documents are finalized.
• Create an approachable digital closing experience, guide borrowers through closing documents, answer questions and facilitate remote online notarization.
• Review documents for quality assurance and coordinate corrections with internal teams and settlement partners, sending reviewed documents to borrowers.
• Organize competing priorities and coordinate with brokers, account executives, settlement partners and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely closings.
